Models 165 - 340 are all 30% Tax Credit eligible in the U.S. While you may not eligible to get the tax rebate, it DOES mean that you will burn less wood than with others who don't qualify and therefore will use more wood - being less than 75% efficient. That's proof, not just rhetoric.

This wood furnace is approx 22 years old. The patch on the roof is from a fire
10 years ago  when the original house, sitting right beside the furnace burned down,
It only damaged part of the roof and was still operational. They kept it right
where it was to use with the new house and it's still being used today!

Our standard firebox is 3/8". 
3/8" is 50% thicker than most of the competition
and we have NEVER had a firebox failure!

Our chimney drops down in the firebox 14", trapping in the heat and gases, to maximize heat transfer and ensuring you're not heating the outside air! This huge secondary burn chambers allows you to burn off all the gases that first ignite, when you throw in a new piece of wood. This is valuable heat, normally lost.
